THE 7TH HEAVEN STUDIO

Finished in early 2017 the 7th Heaven studio is a purpose built self contained studio designed and built by Jon to be the ultimate workspace for modern music production. Fully sound-proofed and extensively acoustically treated it’s the perfect space for stress free creativity. The equipment is constantly evolving to reflect modern production techniques with extensive investment in audio interfaces and computer horse-power. Based around 2 Apple Mac computers with Universal Audio Apollo and Focusrite interfaces it’s perfect for tracking vocals, guitars and small ensembles.

Logic X is the DAW of choice together with numerous 3rd party plugin from UAD, Waves, PSP, Soundtoys, and Isotope together with virtual instruments from Native Instruments, Spitfire Audio, reFx, LennarDigital, uhe Diva, GForce, Rob Papen, Vienna Symphonic Library together with Jon’s massive personal sample library, acquired from over 20 years working in music production.

Monitoring is by Quested with Yamaha speakers as well as an array of ‘grot’ boxes for real world monitoring.

2021 sees the addition of ‘Studio B’, a small live room great for vocals, acoustic guitars and percussion – It’s even Covid safe as it has it’s own entrance from the outside of the main studio building! An ‘Amp Tank’ is next on the list so guitar cabs can be recorded in silence.
