Today our talented singer-somgwriter friend Conleth Kane was at 7th Heaven’s studio in Oakham to record a new dance version of Melanie C’s 1999 hit ‘I Turn To You’. The plan is for this to be released as a track on a forthcoming Conleth Kane EP, in late 2021 or early 2022. More info soon.

We’re very pleased to announce that 7th Heaven has remixed Steps’ excellent new single, ‘Take Me For A Ride’ for BMG. The edit is released digitally today as part of the group’s ‘The Slightest Touch’ EP. The full club mix will be released in mid September. It is, as you’d imagine, a full-on club-friendly, joyous pop stomper.

7th Heaven has recently remixed the latest P!nk single ‘All I Know So Far’. RCA are not using it for their promo campaign nor, sadly, are they releasing it, but they have given us permission to service it to UK DJs, so we’re looking at the best way to do this. It may appear as a CD Pool exclusive next month. It’s a full-on hands-in-the-air remix, Jon Dixon at his most inspired, so pop DJs will go crazy for it. We’ll let you hear it soon.

We’re thrilled to announce that the 7th Heaven remix of Cindy Alter’s ‘Last One Standing’ is due for release on Friday, 13th August 2021. Promotion begins next week. The song, self-penned by Cindy, is gorgeous. Cindy was lead vocalist on the international 1978 hit ‘Substitute’ by all-female South African rock/pop group Clout.

Marcella Detroit [formerly of Shakespears Sister] is releasing her exciting new single entitled ‘Alien 2 Me’ – finding her collaborating with world-renowned remix and production team, the sensational 7th Heaven, who have produced remixes for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Ariana Grande, Cher, Steps, Erasure and more. The single is scheduled to be released August 2nd, 2021. This collaboration came about completely by chance through mutual friends and the result is EPIC and is deemed to be a dance floor anthem. The remix is due to be promoted shortly to UK DJs, via Poparazzi/Power.All songs on her upcoming album entitled ‘Gold’ were written during the pandemic. She says, ‘Alien 2 Me’ is a commentary on the lack of love I’m seeing in our society today. If there are any aliens out there, please come take me with you! 👽

Released today on Dauman Music the awesome new single from American singer/songwriter Vince Tomas, a gorgeous and uplifting dance cover of Roy Orbison’s ‘Careless Heart’. Written by Orbison, Diane Warren and Albert Hammond the song appeared on the star’s final album ‘Mystery Girl’, released after his death in 1989. The song was actually new to me but I’m obsessed with Vince’s version and his vocal is great. The 7th Heaven remix is a big anthem of a mix. It’s available to stream/download now from iTunes and Amazon.
