7th Heaven has remixed the 90s top 10 hit and dance classic, Pianoman’s ‘Blurred’, complete with an approved Damon Albarn vocal sample. It’s set for release later in the year. More info to follow as the release is planned. It’s a biggie!

At last we can announce that 7th Heaven & Banderas ‘This Is Your Life’ has been signed to Cayenne, the sister label to iconic dance label New State. It’s released on Friday, 16th July, just in time for the long-awaited reopening of clubs and dance venues across the UK. Poparazzi/Power will be servicing it to UK DJs this week. We’re extremely excited about this project and cannot wait for you to hear it.

The second release on the newly relaunched 7H Label is a 7th Heaven remix of Chimira’s 90s dance anthem, ‘You’re So Vain’ – a cover of Carly Simon’s 1972 hit. Thanks to Neoteric’s Martin Brooker who commissioned this remix and allowed us to release it on 7H Label.

It’s released on all usual digital platforms on Friday, 23rd July.

We’re excited to announce that 7th Heaven has remixed Marcella Detroit’s excellent new single, ‘Alien 2 Me’. We reckon you’re going to love this one – it’s a euphoric, energy-filled remix of an epic song. It’s due to be promoed to UK DJs via Poparazzi at the end of July. Release is planned for 2nd August. We were both big fans of Shakespears Sister back in the day so we’ve enjoyed working with Marcy. We hope ‘Alien 2 Me’ is well received enough for us to be asked to remix another of her songs at some point.

We’re excited to confirm that the first release on the newly-relaunched 7H Label, 7th Heaven ft. Belle Erskine ‘Ever Fallen In Love’, will be released on all usual digital platforms on Friday, 18th June. Featuring vocals by Belle Erskine it’s a euphoric house reworking of Buzzcocks’ 1978 classic ‘Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)’. The song was covered by indie rock band Noisettes in 2010, which 7th Heaven was asked to remix. Annoyingly, Noisettes were dropped by their label (Vertigo) before the mix was released. This new version, while recreated, is based on that unreleased remix. We hope, as clubs reopen around the world, that 7th Heaven ft. Belle Erskine’s ‘Ever Fallen In Love’ will be a huge anthem with a post-lockdown club-going generation. Please support our new label by downloading our first release, on Friday, 18th June.

We’re thrilled to announce that 7th Heaven has remixed Cindy Alter’s gorgeous, self-penned track ‘Last One Standing’. Cindy Alter, best known as the voice of internationally acclaimed 70s pop band Clout, is releasing a new single ‘Last One Standing’ as part of a definitive collection of her most well-known songs from her career spanning over 40 years. The album, titled ‘Essential Collection – Last One Standing’, features 15 songs that cover her journey not only in Clout, but in Afro-pop band Zia, country duo Alter Irving and her time as one of South Africa’s most acclaimed singer songwriters. To date, Cindy has sold in excess of 12 million units, thus placing her as one of the country’s biggest selling artists of all time.Jon and myself had both been fans, as kids, of Clout’s UK #2 chart hit ‘Substitute’ so to get to work with this lovely lady was a delight. Plans are afoot for 7th Heaven to produce an all-new version of ‘Substitute’ (originally recorded by The Righteous Brothers) so we’re super-excited about that. I think many, old enough to remember it, will be too. Summer 1978, Clout’s version was heard everywhere. But before then, the focus is on Cindy’s epic track ‘Last One Standing’ and this stellar compilation, which I shall be urging you all to download. Release information to follow.

As June is the month for many international pride events we’re pleased to announce that 7th Heaven has remixed Allan Jay’s uplifting new gay anthem entitled ‘Drama Queen’. It is due for release the first week of July through German dance label DMN Records. The track, a cover of the 2007 Danish Eurovision entry, has been recorded and remixed to feature in the upcoming documentary ‘Maisie – Britain’s Oldest Drag Artist’. The documentary is a look at drag legend, David Raven, aka Maisie Trollette, who has been performing as a drag artist for over 50 years. The accompanying video for ‘Drama Queen’ (a still of which is used on the pack shot design shown below) is fun, sexy and camp. It will be go live on YouTube on Saturday, 10th July.

The previously unreleased 7th Heaven remixes of Delta Goodrem’s ‘Sitting On Top Of The World’, commissioned in 2012, have recently been issued on iTunes as an EP. We’re very pleased because it was a good mix of a really great song.
