7th Heaven have remixed this year’s UK Eurovision entry, Michael Rice’s anthemic ‘Bigger Than Us’ for new label Xploded. It’s a typical big hands-in-the-air mix and just perfect for all commercial dance floors.

Jon Dixon has been working hard on tracks for Jane McDonald’s forthcoming 2019 concert tour. The show is in pre-production now and the shows kick off next month, in Wolverhampton, at the Grand Theatre.

7th Heaven have remixed the excellent Swedish entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, John Lundvik’s ‘Too Late For Love’ for Warner Music, Sweden. It’s one of our faves this year.

In 2018 Jon Dixon started performing with a local band, Freudian Slippers, as pianist. Based in Oakham, Rutland, the eclectic 4-piece band gig around the East Midlands area performing (they describe) ‘well-known but rarely played, off-beat songs – or just plain cracking covers, to anyone who will listen’. Jon insists their style is far from the dance sound he is known for, but he is loving being a part of this group of talented musicians. Another life-long ambition fulfilled his new project gets him out of the house and gives his wife Debbie a break from listening to dance music all hours of the day.

The fabulous Claire Richards releases a beautiful Christmas ballad today entitled ‘My Heart Is Heading Home (This Christmas)’ on Sony. We’re thrilled to announce that a festive-flavoured 7th Heaven remix of said song is also released today from all usual digital platforms. StarLab (7th Heaven’s pop alias) have remixed the excellent new single ‘End Before We Start’ by Claire Richards for Sony. It is due to land with UK DJs through Eurosolution and CD Pool any day now.

We’re thrilled to report that Jane McDonald’s ‘Cruising With Jane McDonald’ CD is a new entry at #6 in this week’s Official UK Top 40 Albums Chart as well as #1 in the UK Top 40 Indie Albums Chart. That’s pretty impressive! As you all know by now, the album was produced by 7th Heaven’s Jon Dixon​. Congrats to Jon, Jane and all at Channel 5​.

Following the success of the first series of ‘Jane & Friends’ Jon Dixon is again Music Producer for series 2 of the critically-acclaimed TV show. He has, just this week, returned from Salford’s HQ1 TV studio complex after the filming of the 8 new episodes. Work now begins on mixing over 50 songs featured prior to broadcast later in the year. We’ll let you know the broadcast date once we hear.

On Sunday, 13th May, Jane McDonald was the proud recipient of a BAFTA award for her hugely successful Channel 5 TV show ‘Cruising With Jane McDonald’. It was a big surprise and great thrill for 7th Heaven’s Jon Dixon who is Musical Producer for the award-winning show. Huge congrats to Jane, Channel 5, Elephant House Productions, Jon Dixon and the team of skilled musicians. Jon is currently working on songs for the next series.

22nd June, sees the release of a fabulous new Jane McDonald CD of songs featured in the first series of ‘Cruising With Jane McDonald’.
