We first told you about it two years ago, but sometimes projects can take a while to get the publishing fully agreed. This was one such example. Even at the eleventh hour the publishers made a request for the title to be modified and the original sleeve to be altered. It turned out to be a good thing because I absolutely love the new design, below, created by Zoë Baker – Graphic Design. It is perfect.

Anyhow, at long last we can proudly say, released today, on Energise, over all usual digital platforms, is the fabulous 7th Heaven-produced medley of two songs from the hit musical ‘Hairspray’, performed by the lovely Leanne Jones, best known for playing Tracy Turnblad in the West End production. This fabulously fun, uplifting remix is released just in time for the upcoming party season. The release has two mixes, the full length 7th Heaven Showstopper Club Mix and the 7th Heaven Showstopper Radio Edit.

Despite the hold up from production to release we are pleased to say that the project is not only fully-approved with Universal, it has the complete approval from the writers of ‘Hairspray’, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who have heard it and love it. Quite an endorsement.

Now, we just need it played on BBC Radio 2’s Elaine Paige On Sunday show. If you would, please, Elaine.

We are excited to announce that 7th Heaven has remixed Swedish pop star (and former member of the successful Swedish pop group Alcazar) Magnus Carlsson’s genius cover of ABBA’s 1977 hit ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’. The digital EP will be released on Friday, October 11th. There are 4 tracks in total: the 7th Heaven Club Mix and Edit, a new (shorter) edit of the album version and the original album version.

The euphoric 7th Heaven mix is guaranteed to be a huge fave in clubs and bars this party season. Everyone loves ABBA, everyone loves this ABBA song and Magnus’ version is great. 7th Heaven make it a roof-raising, sing-a-long anthem. ‘A-haaaaa’!

A few weeks ago we were asked by our friend Jeff Nelson if Jon would consider doing his first remix in the style of Almighty’s US tribal/circuit alias Dataluxe since the early 00s, when Dataluxe took off in the states (Jon was the only producer for Dataluxe). This he agreed to do and enjoyed producing immensely.

Jeffreymixed With Paul Parker ‘Lost In The Fog’ (7th Heaven Circuit Anthem Mix) is now available to purchase (and stream) from the Bandcamp link, below. It’s a biggie. We hope you love it as much as we do. It has a classic Pet Shop Boys feel and the remix is huge.

The fabulous 7th Heaven-produced ‘Hairspray Mix’ featuring the songs ‘Good Morning, Baltimore’ and ‘You Can’t Stop The Beat’, by west end star and all round lovely lady, Leanne Jones, is set for release, just in time for party season, on October 14th, on Energise Recordings.

Many of you have been wating for this one. We are thrilled that it is finally being released on a label that we feel is the perfect home for it.

Jon loved working on this. It was quite a challenge for him to take these show song numbers and make them a big party mix. We think the end result is rather special. There’s an edit at 04:47 and an extended mix at 06:26.

Starting next month, our good pal, talended singer/songwriter Conleth Kane, begins recording his next project at 7th Heaven’s Oakham-based studio. There’s a big 80s pop cover (that you will love) and several new Conleth-penned tracks to be recorded. Conleth’s good mate, singer/songwriter Ava Lilly, will be adding vocals on one track.

We have loved every 7th Heaven produced/remixed Conleth Kane track to date, so this is exciting news.

We are thrilled to announce that 7th Heaven is presently remixing Stereolove ft. Sarah Washington’s 2013 gospel/piano house anthem, ‘Heaven’, a re-recorded version of Sarah Washington’s 1996 UK top 30 hit of the same name.

Stereolove aka James Fraser (pictured), is the Victoria-based Billboard US top 10 artist, DJ and producer who has has been at the forefront of the dance music industry in Australia since 1991.

We’re bigging this project up early because we know many old skool fanatics are going to really look forward to it, even though it isn’t planned for release until later in the year.

More info to follow soon, but it’s gonna be a goodie. 7th Heaven’s Jon Dixon loves getting his gospel on! And we, of course, are no strangers to working wih Sarah’s excellent vocal. While her two hit singles at Almighty Records, ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘Careless Whisper’, predated both our arrivals, Jon did remix both songs during his decade-long tenure as the label’s in-house producer.

Set for release on Friday, 9th August, on all major digital platforms, an exciting new version of dance music writer/producer DJ Martinee & X-Posed’s ‘I Know You Know’, complete with a fabulous remix from 7th Heaven.

Some of you will remember US girl trio Exposé’s version from the mid 80s. It’s a great pop track and Jon Dixon has turned out a terrific remix of it.

7th Heaven has produced, ‘Sign Of The Times’, an exclusive from the forthcoming ‘Best Of Ross Alexander & Blitz Kidz’ album, due for the end of 2024.

80s pop fans will remember The Belle Stars original which reached #3 in the UK singles chart in January 1983.

Here’s a project we were thrilled to remix, singer/songwriter Hollway’s fabulously uplifting self-penned 90s-inspired summer single, ‘Somewhere’.

It is set for release on 9th August on Hey Daddy Records.
