UTAH SAINTS 90S CLASSIC GETS A 7TH HEAVEN UPDATE
7th Heaven have remixed the huge club tune Utah Saints vs. Drumsound & Bassline Smith ‘What Can You Do For Me’ for Ministry Of Sound. Of course Old Skool enthusiasts will remember this dance classic from the early 90s as it originally featured instantly familiar samples from two 80s pop hits – Gwen Guthrie’s ‘Ain’t Nothin’ Goin’ On But The Rent’ and Eurythmics’ ‘There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart)’. 7th Heaven’s remix is on a big room tip and respects fully the original 90s version. Promos go out to DJs shortly and release is planned for early in the new year.

7TH HEAVEN GO D.I.S.C.O WITH TYP
Completed this week is an amazing new 7th Heaven remix on the debut release for the Israeli duo TYP (The Young Professionals). The track is ‘D.I.S.C.O.’, a fun slice of electro pop meets nu-disco that samples heavily from Ottawan’s 1980 disco anthem of the same name. TYP have been nominated for ‘Worldwide Act’ at 2011 MTV European Music Awards. We’re certain you’ll be hearing a great deal more about this group (and this song) over the coming months.
