    OH MY! GO KICKING & SCREAMING TO 7TH HEAVEN

    There’s a huge buzz surrounding Oh My!, the girl duo who look set to break through in a big way next month. The girls, one from Leeds, the other from Milton Keynes, release their brilliant new single entitled ‘Kicking & Screaming’ complete with an fantastic pop mix from 7th Heaven. The song, produced by iSHi of Tinie Tempah fame, is an infectious, chugging and sassy little number and is set for release on 14th August through 679/Atlantic.

    7th Heaven have remixed the new single from their favourite Spice Girl, Melanie C. Entitled ‘Think About It’, this incredibly strong pop song is released through Melanie’s own Red Girl label on September 4th. Melanie’s long awaited fifth solo album ‘The Sea’ will also be available in early September.

    SUGABABES GIVE 7TH HEAVEN A TASTE OF FREEDOM

    We’re really chuffed to announce that 7th Heaven have remixed ‘Freedom’, the amazing new track from Sugababes. It is due to be released on September 4th and will serve as the lead single from the group’s (as yet untitled) eighth studio album. It also marks the first release from the pop trio since they moved to Sony RCA after departing Island earlier this year. This very big room sounding mix, complete with dub, went out to DJs this week through Poparazzi. ‘Freedom’ was previously featured in a Nokia mobile phone advertising campaign.

    It has been a pretty amazing year so far for 7th Heaven, and with 2 of the biggest projects featuring 7th Heaven remixes having been #1 for the last 3 weeks in the UK (Jason Derulo ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ [Warner Bros] for 2 weeks and DJ Fresh ft. Sian Evans ‘Louder’ [Ministry Of Sound] this week) plus with 4 tracks in the top 30 this week, the top commercial remix team in the UK really are on a roll!

    Currently on promo are these hot new 7th Heaven remixes – Inna ‘Love’ [3Beat], Darren Hayes ‘Talk Talk Talk’ [Powdered Sugar], Shakira ft. Pitbull ‘Rabiosa’ [Epic], Talay Riley ‘Make You Mine’ [Jive], Mary-Jess ‘Glorious’ [Decca] and with new releases pending from LeAnn Rimes ‘Crazy Women’ [Curb], Deni Hines & The A-Funk Allstars ‘Finger On The Trigger (Love Is In Control)’ [Ent. Cons.], Velvet ‘Love Struck’ [Extensive], Guy Sebastian ‘Who’s That Girl’ [Sony] and with more coming through each week.     On the production side, we are pleased to announce that the lads’ new collaboration with Katherine Ellis is nearly finished and sounding fantastic. More on that later in the year. Before then though you can look forward to the full release of 7th Heaven ft. Donna Gardier-Elliott ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ on Italian label Ego, hopefully by the end of summer. Featuring an impressive list of remixes including Gyber, Oxford Hustlers, Trilogy Project, Wayne G & Porl Young, JRMX and The Thin Red Men plus others still in production. Exciting stuff eh? We’ll give you an update on this in a few weeks.

    7TH HEAVEN REMIX A NEW SONG FOR GUY

    7th Heaven have remixed the awesome new single from Aussie superstar Guy Sebastian ft. Eve. The song is entitled ‘Who’s That Girl’ and is taken from his new compilation ‘Twenty Ten’, a hot seller currently in Australia. This remix is due for release imminently down under on Sony and hopefully other territories later in the year. Guy is a household name in Australia being the first winner of their version of ‘Pop Idol’ in 2003. It’s a really quite fabulous song and very contemporary. 7th Heaven’s mix is typically joyous.

    DARREN HAYES GETS CHATTY WITH 7TH HEAVEN

    7th Heaven were thrilled to be asked to remix Darren Hayes’ fab new single ‘Talk Talk Talk’, the first to be lifted from the Australian singer’s hugely anticipated new album ‘Secret Codes And Battleships’, due for release in the autumn. The remixes (also featuring Club Junkies and Fred Falke) are set for a digital only release on 31st July on Powdered Sugar.

    7th Heaven have remixed the brand new release ‘Finger On The Trigger (Love Is In Control)’, by Aussie R&B diva Deni Hines & The A-Funk Allstars. Due to be released shortly on the Entertainment Consulting label this fantastic rework of the Donna Summer disco classic ‘Love Is In Control’ is a peak time anthem style mix, not dissimilar to the remixes 7th Heaven completed a few years ago of Earth Wind & Fire and Liquid Gold.

    iSquare are Interscope’s latest priority act. Destiny, 10 Beats, Mike J and Briddy make up the new US-based urban pop act. Their debut release, entitled ‘Hey Sexy Lady’, is due for release in the US and other territories later in the summer with 7th Heaven providing a typically uplifting dance mix.

    INNA LOVES 7TH HEAVEN

    7th Heaven have remixed the next UK single release for Romania dance artist Inna. This song was actually her second single in Romania in 2009. Many of her fans regard this as one of her strongest songs it being more in the style of her debut hit single ‘Hot’. As you might imagine, 7th Heaven’s mix is a full on hands-in-the-air type mix. It is due to be club promoted shortly and released in late July on 3Beat.

    DJ FRESH GETS LOUDER WITH 7TH HEAVEN

    7th Heaven have remixed ‘Louder’, the massive new tune by dubstep producer DJ Fresh ft. Sian Evans. You might know it better as that tune from the Lucuzade TV advert. It is a huge priority for Ministry Of Sound and is set for release on 3rd July 2011. Scott Mills played the 7th Heaven mix this Friday 27th May, on his Radio 1 Ready For The Weekend show.
