7th Heaven have started work on their next production which features the amazing vocal talents of one of our favourite divas, the one and only Katherine Ellis. We’re not letting you know the song just yet but we will say that it’s a rework of a not-so-(instantly)-obvious 70’s US chart hit. More on this in the new year.

We’ve just heard that 2 projects featuring 7th Heaven remixes have the top 2 positions in last week’s Billboard Dance Chart… Kylie Minogue’s ‘Get Outta My Way’ is at #1 and Selena Gomez & The Scene’s ‘Round & Round’ is at #2. Both have also been great sellers on the US digital store Masterbeat, Kylie having been their biggest seller for some weeks.

Completed just last week and already approved is the 7th Heaven mix of the latest superb track, ‘Lose My Mind’, from top UK boyband The Wanted. Due for release early in the new year on Geffen we reckon this will be huge in clubland as well as being a massive chart smash.

The StarLab lads have remixed the awesome new single from Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue. ‘Better Than Today’ is a radio-friendly, Scissor Sisters-esque tune that many feel is the stand out track on Kylie’s ‘Aphrodite’ album. At this stage, no date has been set for release but we will of course keep you posted. StarLab’s mix has a very electro pop feel – faithful to the original yet still clubby at the same time.

StarLab have remixed the amazing new single by Selena Gomez & The Scene entitled ‘A Year Without Rain’. StarLab are of course 7th Heaven’s pop alter ego. The track is due for release on 22nd November on Fascination/Hollywood.

7th Heaven have remixed another big track forthcoming on Neoteric, Steve More ft. Wray’s ‘Fool For Love’. Not released until early 2011, this super catchy and anthemic disco-inspired original tune is a favourite of both Jon and Andy. Currently on promo is Hera Björk’s ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’ complete with a 7th Heaven mix. It is released on 25th October.

We were thrilled that Scott Mills played the 7th Heaven Mix of The Saturdays ‘Higher’ this evening on his Radio 1 Friday Floor Fillers show. 7th Heaven have enjoyed regular plays on his show throughout the year with spins of their Sugababes, Jason Derulo, Scissor Sisters mixes plus of course, a staggering 10 consecutive weeks playing Kylie’s ‘Get Outta My Way’!

Jamaican star, Gyptian, is currently the hottest reggae artist on the planet, his latest single ‘Hold You’ has had a staggering 15 million views on You Tube. Now, this massive buzz tune just got bigger as 7th Heaven give the song a full-on peak-time remix, perfect for all commercial dance floors. ‘Hold You’ is set to be a huge chart hit when released next month on Ministry Of Sound.

Certain to be one of the biggest pop records this autumn, Alesha Dixon’s fabulous new single ‘Radio’, forthcoming on Asylum, features an amazingly uplifting remix from 7th Heaven. It is due to be club promoted to UK DJs within the next couple of weeks and released on 28th November. This one really is a biggie.
