7th Heaven has remixed Claire Richards with Andy Bell’s excellent cover of ABBA’s 1978 hit ‘Summer Night City’. Claire and Andy sound great together. Jon’s mix is, as you might imagine, a total pop banger.

Coming soon, although no firm date decided yet, 7th Heaven remixes of three English language songs by French singer-songwriter, Rose Laurens – ‘Real Love’, ‘Boys Will Always Be Boys’ and ‘2 B Boys’. Rose Laurens’ own Facebook page stated, ‘plans are indeed underway but no release date is envisaged at this moment’.

7th Heaven remixed her 1982 French pop classic ‘Africa’ last year which you can purchase now on iTunes and other digital stores.

Exciting news out of the Pumpin’ UK Media camp, currently in production with 7th Heaven’s Jon Dixon, is a special compilation to be titled ‘The Mirrorball Classics’, due for release in 2024. It is, as the title suggests, a collection of new and classic 7th Heaven Mirrorball mixes. I reckon many of you will be delighted to hear this.

One of the newly produced tracks for this upcoming album is brilliant. More on this and other new tracks in the works over coming months.

Needless to say, this album should be a great seller. The idea, which is totally Ross’, is an excellent one. We can see this becoming a successful album series. Nearer the time, we will be urging you all to pre-order it.

We are excited to finally be able to mention that 7th Heaven has remixed three tracks from Claire Richards’ forthcoming new album, ‘Euphoria’. The excellent lead single, ‘I Surrender’, ‘Song For The Lonely’ and another (absolute banger) that you will hear about soon. Edits of our ‘I Surrender’ and ‘Song For The Lonely’ mixes appear on the Deluxe CD Edition of the album. We expect the extended 7th Heaven Mix of ‘I Surrender’ will be released over coming weeks.

We have been sworn to secrecy about these remixes for weeks. Even when probed by enquiring Steps fans, asking ‘Have you remixed Claire’s new tracks?’, we replied, ‘nothing yet’! We’re certain you’re going to love them – they are as euphoric as you’d imagine them to be.

We are massive fans of Claire and rate highly the standard of production on the album tracks we’ve heard, so we were thrilled to be asked to remix what we feel are the stand-out tracks on this stellar pop album. From song selection to Claire’s powerhouse vocal and Steve Anderson’s top-notch production it is pretty special.

The album features classic songs by legendary female singers, of which Claire writes that ‘This album is a thank you to all the incredible women that inspired me to sing!’

We are excited to announce that 7th Heaven has produced the debut single for Leanne Jones, the British actress best known for her role as Tracy Turnblad in the West End production of the hit musical ‘Hairspray’. It’s a fun and rather fabulous medley of two of the biggest numbers from the show, ‘Good Morning Baltimore’ and ‘You Can’t Stop The Beat’.

The mix is due to be released soon via usual digital stores.

The mix has been heard by the show’s writers Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman who fully endorse this exciting new version.

We are pleased to announce that 7th Heaven has remixed this absolute banger, ‘Ecuador (My Heart Went Boom Mix)’, by Fidget Spinnerz. It is set for release soon on Fidget Music and will be serviced to DJs this week through the UK’s best DJ promo company, Poparazzi/Power.

It features the familiar riff from the huge 1997 Sash! hit ‘Ecuador’ mixed with the instantly infectious europop song ‘My Heart Went Boom’.

It’s a big euphoric club stormer and singalong anthem for the summer – one we envisage all commercial DJs will go crazy for.

One project we’ve been especially excited to announce is Tophy Dye’s amazing new single with 7th Heaven, a stellar dance reworking of Kate Bush’s ‘Cloudbusting’. It is set for release on Friday, 16th June through all usual digital outlets.

The track was recorded at Jon Dixon’s home studio in Oakham, Rutland, earlier this year. Jon loved working on this production.

The digital single includes the radio version, the full club mix and a stripped back beatless mix.

The UK’s top DJ/club promotions company, Poparazzi, will be servicing it to their DJs soon.

Almost a year after the remix was commissioned and approved, the unreleased 7th Heaven Remix of Sam Ryder’s ‘SPACE MAN’ will finally be serviced to UK DJs, exclusively via UK promo service CD Pool this Friday. All subscribers to CD Pool’s ‘Dance’ and ‘Remix’ titles will receive it. Perfect timing with this year’s Eurovision Song Contest being the next day.

Parlophone’s A&R were very specific about how they wanted this remix and insisted the vocal (at 80bpm) not be given a drastic time-stretch. Consequently, the 7th Heaven remix is 101bpm. It is though a full vocal, unlike the other official remix of this song, Sam Feldt’s dub-like mix, which features only lines from the song.

There are no plans for the 7th Heaven remix to be released.

One of several big 7th Heaven remixes and productions being released over the next few weeks is Conleth Kane’s latest single, ‘Pure Shores’ – a stellar update of All Saints’ hit from 2000. We’ve been excited to tell you about this one for some time. We love it and are sure you will too.

It is set for release on Friday, 2nd June.

Set for release in June, Zoe x 7th Heaven ‘Right In The Night’, on Pumpin’ Media UK. It is, of course, a big pop/trance reworking of the Jam & Spoon ft. Plavka early 90s euro hit and dance anthem. Produced by Jon Dixon it features all-new vocals from Zoe Fuller and backing vocals from Bianca Kinane-Ewart.

It’s a biggie, folks. If you loved your 90s euro, you’re going to adore this. Hats off to Ross for having the idea. It’s a fabulous song choice.
