Almost a year after the remix was commissioned and approved, the unreleased 7th Heaven Remix of Sam Ryder’s ‘SPACE MAN’ will finally be serviced to UK DJs, exclusively via UK promo service CD Pool this Friday. All subscribers to CD Pool’s ‘Dance’ and ‘Remix’ titles will receive it. Perfect timing with this year’s Eurovision Song Contest being the next day.
Parlophone’s A&R were very specific about how they wanted this remix and insisted the vocal (at 80bpm) not be given a drastic time-stretch. Consequently, the 7th Heaven remix is 101bpm. It is though a full vocal, unlike the other official remix of this song, Sam Feldt’s dub-like mix, which features only lines from the song.
There are no plans for the 7th Heaven remix to be released.
